Bronge Racing Takes Pole at season opener, Saturday qualifying shut down due to heavy rains
"Two hits on Friday were all we needed, " Bronge states. 92 degree temperatures, 128 degree tack temp. and 118 grains of water make it tough to make good data collecting horsepower but a 6.68 at 208mph was just what the doctor ordered to allow the Bronge Racing/ Detail Concrete alltered to take and hold the pole at the NPCA season opener. Friday evening the NPCA held there 2007 award ceremony. Bronge received the Super eliminator trophy for the 2007 points championship. He thanked all his crew, crew chief Rob Willey, Head Mechanic and father Bill Bronge and newly promoted team manager and mechanic Jerry Criscione for all there dedicated support and help. He put a special thanks to his wife Sandi who quote, " If it wasn't for all her love and support I could not in my heart do this without her" and his two daughters Samantha and Amanda "My biggest fans." He also thanked the NPCA for there continued support and all there efforts to keep this program running, stay tuned for Sunday's results.
